I made this painting from past feelings of loneliness I experienced. Though we all can use alone time, no one truly wants to be on an island all by themselves. We long for the presence of others and to connect to someone other than ourselves. Maybe this is why the God of the Bible says "It is not good for man to be alone." Even God is not alone, for He has always been in communion as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I hope this painting resonates with those that feels alone or felt alone before, you are not alone.
