This painting touches on the feelings of depression, anxiety, doubts, fears, and so much more. At the time I made this, I was drowning in depression and frustration caused by my own life choices and circumstances. I was being overwhelmed by negative thoughts and problems that flooded my mind. During this time, I reached out to God who ultimately helped me recover my peace even though the storm had not yet passed. Oftentimes, we are the creators of our situations, so we can't always expect to evade the consequences. However, it doesn't mean we are doomed to drown in the consequences. If we want change, we have to be willing to change ourselves.
