God's Promise Canvas

This painting illustrates the dove that Noah sent out during the ending stages of the flood account in Genesis. The bird had brought back a branch with leaves on it and then was sent out again, never returning. Once off the ark, God promised to never flood the earth again. The painting also connects to the promised Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit descended on Jesus like a dove after his baptism and filled the Apostles after Jesus’ ascension into Heaven. Everyone who believes in the Gospel of Jesus will be filled with His Holy Spirit which is the seal of salvation.
